I have seen friends use Twitter to sell furniture in the city when they are moving. Similar to Craigslist.

no, though my goal is to promote my new line via twitter and my blog once it's complete. i do however follow someone who uses twitter exclusively to promote their etsy shop, and it seems to work well for her. @adnagam

I know that we are starting to offer specials such as happy hour for our hotel bar/restaurant through updated tweets such as "twitter tuesdays at the Commodore Grill Restaurant, come between 5-7pm for $5 martinis"
